Following
on her last monthly message Our Lady is calling us again to a life of prayer,
because we live in a world in which sin and evil forces dominate the lives of
many people, and she wants us to overcome the temptations of the world by
holiness of life which we can achieve by a life of prayer. To achieve this
ideal of holy living Our Lady is calling us to open ourselves to her leading
us, as she told us on 25th August 1992:
- Dear
Children, today I wish to tell you that I love you. I love you with my Motherly
love; and I call upon you to open yourselves completely to me so that through
each of you I may be enabled to convert and save the world, where there is much
sin and many things that are evil. Therefore, my dear little children, open
yourselves completely to me so that I may be able to lead you more and more to
the marvellous love of God, the Creator, who reveals Himself to you day by day.
I am at your side and I wish to reveal to you and show you the God that loves
you. Thank you for having responded to my call.
The
way to holiness of life, besides prayer, is to accept everything that God is
offering us on our journey in our troubled world, as Our Lady told us on 25th
July 1987:
- Dear
Children, I beseech you to take up the way of holiness beginning today. I love
you and, therefore, I want you to be holy. I do not want Satan to block you on
that way. Dear children, pray and accept all that God is offering you on a way which
is bitter. But at the same time, God will reveal every sweetness to whomever
begins to go on that way, and He will gladly answer every call of God. Do not
attribute importance to petty things. Long for heaven. Thank you for having
responded to my call.
In
achieving holiness of life we must pray with the heart so our prayer may become
a conversation with God so as to be protected against the influence of Satan,
as Our Lady told us on 25th September 1990:
- Dear
Children, I invite you to pray with the heart in order that your prayer may be
a conversation with God. I desire that each of you dedicate more time to God.
Satan is strong and wants to destroy and deceive you in many ways. Therefore,
dear children, pray every day that your life will be good for yourself and all
those in need. I am with you and I am protecting you even though Satan wishes
to destroy my plan and to hinder the desires which the Heavenly Father wants to
realize here. Thank you for having responded to my call.
Our
life of prayer is effective only when we experience joy in prayer and thus
overcome all the fears which we may experience in this world. Our Lady explains
the purpose of joyful prayer in a beautiful message on 25th July 1992:
- Dear
Children, today, again I invite all of you to prayer, a joyful prayer, so that
in these sad days none of you feels sadness in prayer, but a joyful meeting
with God, his Creator. Pray, little children, so that you can be closer to me
and feel, through prayer, what I desire from you. I am with you and every day I
bless you with my Motherly Blessing, so that the Lord may bestow you with the
abundance of His Grace for your daily life. Thank God for the gift of my being
with you, because I am telling you: This is a great Grace. Thank you for having
responded to my call.
